Maestro Glass Ionomer Cements
Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods ID No. 187380

Type I - Luting Self-Cured
Type II.1 - Restorative Self-Cured
Type III - Liner/Base Self-Cured
Type III - Liner/Base Light-Cured
Type IV - Fissure Protect Self-Cured

bridges veneers and other facings. It can be used as a liner under composites. A fast setting Luting self cured GIC,
A film thickness of 20 micron and a compressive strength of 145MPa. Available in A2 shade.

Type II.1 - Restorative Self-Cured radiopaque, packable restorative GIC suitable for permanent dental
fillings. A wear resistant filling material that releases high levels of fluoride for up to two years. The cumulative fluoride
release in the first hundred days is approximately 800 micrograms per sqcm. The seven day compressive strength is
210MPa. Available in A1, A2, and A3.5.

Type III - Liner/Base Self-Cured radiopaque restorative GIC used for lining cavities and as a base under
restoratives. Available in A2 shade.

Type III - Liner/Base Light-Cured radiopaque restorative GIC used for lining cavities and as a base under
restoratives such as composite and amalgam. The cumulative fluoride release in the first hundred days is approximately
800 micrograms per sqcm. The seven day compressive strength is 200MPa. It bonds to tooth structure and composite.
Available in A2 shade.

Type IV - Fissure Protect Self-Cured is a low viscosity radiopaque GIC designed to be used as pit and
fissure sealant for children's teeth and as a preventive measure against caries. It is a high fluoride releasing material with
an approximate cumulative fluoride release of 800 microgram per sqcm in a hundred days. It continues to release fluoride
for up to two years. Its low viscosity ensures flow into small crevices and effective wetting and strong bonding to tooth
surfaces. It forms a semi-permeable solid layer that along with its high fluoride levels prevent acid and bacteria attack
while allowing calcium and phosphate ions to pass through and strengthen the tooth. Available in Opaque shade.
